====== FreeBSD Developer Summit, March, 2018 ====== This page describes the March 2018 %%FreeBSD%% Developer Summit, colocated with %%AsiaBSDCon%% 2018, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan. This is a by-invitation event. %%FreeBSD%% committers will be welcome to register themselves using this wiki; non-committers must be sponsored by a committer to attend. Attendees must also attend %%AsiaBSDCon%% 2018 in order to access all devsummit activities. Consider making a [[https://www.freebsdfoundation.org/donate|donation to the FreeBSD Foundation]] to support this effort. ===== Schedule ===== The %%FreeBSD%% developer summit will take place on the 8th and 9th of March on the same days as the %%AsiaBSDCon%% tutorials. Many developers will arrive a few days before the event to get rid of jet lag before things kick off. Most developers will stay on through %%AsiaBSDCon%% to give and attend talks. The menu will cost 4500 JPY. Vegetarians or people with food allergies/sensitivities have to order a la carte menu at the restaurant. A tablet is available on each table and you can also order with it. The restaurant can be reached by using the JR Sobu Line Iidabashi Station West Exit (1-minute walk), or via Subway Iidabashi Station B2b exit (1-minute walk). A few power outlets, vending machines, and a 7-11 right across the street are available. The hotel address is 2 Chome-4-4 Nishikanda.
