====== locate ======

''%%locate%%'' (called ''%%mlocate%%'' on some Linux distros) is installed by default as part of every base install.

On a freshly-installed system, ''%%locate%%'' will not return results until its database is primed. Run this command to rebuild the locate database immediately:

<code>
sudo /etc/periodic/weekly/310.locate
</code>

You can configure the system to update this database periodically:

<code>
sysrc weekly_locate_enable="YES"
</code>
