===== Bugzilla Notifications =====

One of the areas that Bugmeister has never really documented is about notification of bugs in [[/Bugzilla]].  Here are some suggestions for discussion.

==== ports issues ====

  * if the issue is a suggested change:
    * if the port has a **MAINTAINER** then they should be on the Cc: and have the **maintainer-feedback** flag set.
      * is the maintainer is also a committer, they should also have the issue assigned to them.
    * if the Summary correctly includes a filled-in **%%<%%category>/%%<%%portname>**, our auto-assigner will do this for you.
    * otherwise, a triager will need to do this manually.
  * if the issue is a failure:
    * if the issue is a new regression, it should be assigned and Cc:ed to the committer.
