Howdy, I am an upcoming sophomore Computer Engineering major at [[https://www.tamu.edu/|Texas A&M]] I currently work for the university, along with [[https://www.tamucc.edu/|Texas A&M Corpus Christi]].

I've been using Mac OS for as long as I can remember, and %%FreeBSD%% for the past 2-3 years. I've also used/hacked on/broken [[https://www.netbsd.org/|NetBSD]] [[http://www.mirbsd.org/|MirBSD]] and [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EkkoBSD|ekkoBSD]]

My project is porting Mac OS 10.4's new set of utilities collectively known as "launchd(8)" which help parallelize the boot process, and remove several antiquated Unix daemons, like atd, cron, watchdogd, and inetd/xinetd.
