FreeBSD Developer Summit, 17th–18th May 2023
This two-day summit was co-located with the nineteenth annual BSDCan, which ran until 20th May in Ottawa, Canada. The summit included developer discussion sessions, vendor talks, and working groups.

Many attendees hung out in #devsummit on EFnet during the summit and BSDCan.
Live Streaming
The main summit sessions were streamed via the DMS 1160 room and on YouTube.
Schedule
Many developers arrived on the night of the 16th and met for dinner and drinks before things kick off. Most stayed on through BSDCan to give and attend talks. It is an excellent conference – a good FreeBSD developer showing has countless benefits, not least the opportunity to tell the world what we're doing.

The Desmarais Building (DMS) is located northwest of the Residence building on Laurier Avenue.
The bottom floor lounge in the U90 Residence Hall was used as the hacker lounge in the evenings, and for dinner on Wednesday evening.

Hackathon Topics
The bottom floor lounge (L140) in the U90 Residence hall was used as a general hacking space on Wednesday and Thursday. Attendees were welcome in this lounge throughout the summit.
