Notes on my attempts at getting Linux Spotify working on FreeBSD 11.

Using spotify-client_0.9.4.183.g644e24e.428-1_i386.deb

• linux_base-c6-6.6_6 etc from ports
• libcef from cef_binary_3.1547.1406_linux_client
• libc and libstdc++ from Ubuntu
• GConf2-2.28.0-6.el6.i686.rpm and ORBit2-2.14.17-5.el6.i686.rpm from centos6

linprocfs mounted on /compat/linux/proc

setenv QT_X11_NO_MITSHM 1

Starting spotify gives the error: “Spotify is already running, but not responding. Please close it and try again”
