I'm a src committer, mainly as a member of the bug busting team, finding and committing patches in the GNATS PR system. I also work on the SCTP stack.

• Work out the size of various distributions before installing, in order to suggest reasonable slice sizes.
• Add a geom based partitioner with support for SU+J, ZFS etc.
• Remove scheduling of UI based on global variables.
• DONE: Allow installation to be canceled out to the main menu when things start going wrong.
• Handle restarting sysinstall properly by resetting state completely.
• Add a percentage indicator when scrolling in libdialog to make scroll indicator more visible.
• Fix netinstall bugs.

• Coordinate with PC-BSD to add a text frontend to the PC-BSD installer so it can be used with FreeBSD. - There's an idea to use the PC-BSD installer in 9.0 as the main UI; to replace sysinstall entirely it needs more functionality, including a text frontend to handle installations over serial etc.
