Once upon a time, I was browsing IdeasPage page, and came across a proposal to port OpenBSD's hw.sensors framework, which I've co-authored, to FreeBSD. Being a student and having some free time this summer, at that point I knew what I had to do. (:

As of 2007-256, the project has been completed and a complete CVS HEAD patch was released.
