  • Legend
    • ✔ OK
    • :?: Somewhat OK: requires additional tweaking or works worse than expected
    • :!: Present but status unknown or untested
    • ✘ Does not work
    • nothing Not sure if present
  • Supports UEFI and SecureBoot, but both can be disabled in the BIOS
  • Brightness controls for screen does work depending on dwm being used. It did work by default in Gnome,KDE , but not in Mate,Xfce [ sysctl hw.acpi.video.lcd0.brightness=VALUE - works ]
  • Suspend/Resume has random behaviour in my experience. [ – S3 state seems to be working in MATE @ default , (update 2023) ] [ – S3 state not currently working, It freezes and a reboot is required (sometimes in gnome and xfce it did work but no luck in KDE5/Plasma)]
  • Headphone output, laptop speakers is working by default with [snd_hda(4)].
  • Ethernet works straight out of the install ([em(4)])
  • Wireless works straigh out of the install [(iwm(4)]
  • Graphics work with drm-kmod, (i915kms)
  • Touchpad feels like a normal linux installation but not as good as windows 7/10/11.
  • Battery usage/drain depends on dwm, works excellent in xfce or mate (or i3/awesome etc), powerd++/powerd settings recommended.
  • Not tested with docking yet.
  • Untested: Camera,Microphone,Fingerprint reader
