Ongoing work
Apache OpenOffice
OpenOffice is a Top Level Project at the Apache Software Foundation.
The editors/openoffice-4 port carries of the latest stable release.
The code on trunk (4.2.0) supports AMD64, i386, and has initial support for PPC, PPC64 and ARM on FreeBSD. Upstream maintains a FreeBSD buildbot and building with the native clang is fully supported.
Libreoffice
The RedPorts repository for the latest in LibreOffice is at https://svn.redports.org/office/. Send patches to office@.
Hunspell and Friends
All possible dictionaries, thesaurus and hyphenation are being added to the ports tree to allow LibreOffice, OpenOffice and every potential hunspell aware application to share the same resources.
