==== New Things ====

  * jtl@ suggests that Linux may have defaults that are tuned for better performance than the %%FreeBSD%% defaults. This may impact naive performance tests.
    * tuexen@ suggests that there could be great benefit from developing a tuning guide which tells you how to tune for performance, security, etc.

  * tuexen@ talks about a syzkaller-found bug. jtl@ recognizes it as something he fixed in [[https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/base/338986|r338986]]. It looks like the fix never made it to head. jtl@ will follow up with gordon@ about that.

  * jtl@ briefly discussed the recent security advisory related to SACK handling.
