This is an old revision of the document!

Howdy, I am an upcoming sophomore Computer Engineering major at [http://www.tamu.edu Texas A&M] I currently work for the university, along with [http://www.tamucc.edu Texas A&M Corpus Christi].

I've been using Mac OS for as long as I can remember, and FreeBSD for the past 2-3 years. I've also used/hacked on/broken [http://www.netbsd.org NetBSD] [http://www.mirbsd.de MirBSD] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EkkoBSD ekkoBSD]

My project is porting Mac OS 10.4's new set of utilities collectively known as “launchd(8)” which help paralellize the boot process, and remove several antiquated unix daemons, like atd, cron, watchdogd, and inetd/xinetd.
