Thursday, May 13, 2013 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm

The Automated Testing Framework (ATF) package is a collection of libraries to simplify the creation of test programs in a variety of languages. With FreeBSD growing more architectures, platforms, features and interfaces, it's increasingly more difficult to not break something, somewhere. Having unit tests is a good way of managing the quality of the source code and ATF is perceived to be a good infrastructure to use.

Establish consensus or relay information about the following list of topics so that real progress can be made and more people can get involved.

# Topic Description
1 Where to place unit tests in the source tree
2 Where and how to install unit tests
3 What tests have been ported from NetBSD already
4 What's a priority list of tests we like to have
5 How to automate running tests
6 Whether to make it part of tinderbox
7 Any additional topics that have been brought up

In order to attend you need register for the developer summit as well as by email for the session and be confirmed by the working group organizer. Follow the guidelines described on the main page or what you received by email. For questions or if in doubt ask the session chairs.

Please do NOT add yourself here. Your name will appear automatically once you have received the confirmation email. You need to put your name on the general developer summit attendees list though.
