FreeBSD Storage Summit, February 27th, 2017
This is the registration and schedule page for the FreeBSD Storage Summit, coinciding with USENIX's FAST '17 event, on February 27nd, 2017 in Santa Clara, California.
This is a by-invitation event. FreeBSD committers are welcome to register by adding their names to the table on this page; non-committers must be sponsored by a committer to attend. If you would like to attend but need a sponsor, contact gibbs@FreeBSDFoundation.org. All attendees must also register with the registration system once it becomes available.
Event Description
This will be the second annual FreeBSD Storage Summit. This single day event will be filled with presentations about new developments in FreeBSD's storage stack and the latest storage trends.
Talk proposals should be submitted to gibbs@FreeBSDFoundation.org
Costs and Registration
All attendees must register using the online registration system and pay a $75 fee to help offset venue, A/V, and catering costs.
The FreeBSD Foundation travel grant program travel grant program is available for those needing financial assistance to be able to attend this event.
Discount on FAST '17
USENIX has graciously offered a $75 discount for attendees who choose to stay and attend FAST sessions after the FreeBSD Storage Summit.
To receive this discount, attendees should use the code FAST17FREEBSD when registering for FAST.
NOTE: This discount cannot be applied retroactively to existing FAST registrations.
