This page describes FreeBSD support for the Cavium Econa CNS11XX http://www.caviumnetworks.com/ECONA_CNS1XXX.html.

The SoC was formerly known as StarSemi STAR91XX before StarSemi was acquired by Cavium Networks.

The SoC is used in many Network Attached Storage devices (usually the SoC is STR9104).

Currently YohanesNugroho is the only one working on this SoC.
