One of the areas that Bugmeister has never really documented is about notification of bugs in Bugzilla. Here are some suggestions for discussion.

• if the issue is a suggested change:
  • if the port has a MAINTAINER then they should be on the Cc: and have the maintainer-feedback flag set.
    • is the maintainer is also a committer, they should also have the issue assigned to them.
  • if the Summary correctly includes a filled-in <category>/<portname>, our auto-assigner will do this for you.
  • otherwise, a triager will need to do this manually.
• if the issue is a failure:
  • if the issue is a new regression, it should be assigned and Cc:ed to the committer.
