FreeBSD/powerpc64 on Raptor Computing Systems

Raptor Computing Systems has been working closely with FreeBSD developers to ensure that FreeBSD works well on its various products.

There are two ways to do graphics.

• You don't need to install any extra ports or firmware.
  • Drawback: you get ugly-looking colors due to a byteswap problem.

If you want normal-looking colors, for now, you need to install a graphics card. Radeon (ATI) is recommended.

• install drm-current-kmod and xf86-video-ati.
