Welcome to page describing GSoC to port FreeBSD to Yeeloong. Yeeloong is a Loongson 2F (mipsel)-based netbook and is famous for being used by Stallman. The goal of this project is to get it running on this machine.

Milestones:

• (M1) Hello on serial (reached)
• (M2) Kernel asks for root.
• (M3) Kernel able to read ATA-disks
• (M4) boot into single user mode
• (M5) boot into multi-user mode.
• (M6) Video console and keyboard
• (M7) PCI support
