• This MoinMoin wiki is running in a jail, which is custom version of www/moinmoin that comes from clusteradm port/package repository

1. Where does the v1 plugin come from?
   • Apparently from https://gist.github.com/tfoote/675b98df53369e199dea based on code inspection on the wiki jail environment.
   • Likely a patch to the port, plus a RUN_DEPENDS on devel/py-recaptcha. Have asked for a copy of the port.
2. Is there a patch to the v1 plugin out there or a v2 plugin (or code)?
   • There is now in Bug 227394 Comment 1

Documentation is scarce. Here are the only bits and references we could find:

• Potentially useful patch adding reCAPTCHA to MoinMoin 1.9.7 (gist.github.com)
  • A very similar patch: adds recaptchas to moin 1.9.x to keep spammers away (codereview.appspot.com) The patch from Gist is more recent and probably better.
